Thanks to GEEKS in Whittier for hosting the first ever CARTOONISTAS art show. It was a blast. We had a nice little turn out for a holiday weekend. We hope to do more shows in the future. The Cartoonists's exhibit will be up until August. Go check it out in uptown Whittier!

First "Official" meeting

Oh what a night. The first "official" meeting of the Cartoonistas was excellent. Lots of good conversation about the creative process and highs and lows of being an independent artist. Attendees: Javier Hernandez, Gras Rodriguez, Ted Seko, Jose Cabrera, and Jim Lujan. Thanks to Enrique Diaz and the Nuvien Foundation for providing the meeting space. Looking forward to the next meeting!
