All in all it was a good time had last night in Pasadena. The Pasadena Central Library is a beautiful place. I think we missed the loud music, though. That always adds the to atmosphere. The crowd seemed very interested in our art processes. Pasadena is a great place with lots of great people who like great art and the night was....well...pretty great. We would LOVE to do another show in Pasadena.

Mini-Comics Dump Truck

The Mini-Comics Dump Truck has launched. Its a group experiment that has artists creating mini-comics and mailing them to everyone involved in the project. Founded by Kevin Cross, it looks to be an interesting artistic endevour....and a great way to get free comics!

JAVILAND is a GO GO GO!

Javier Hernandez's brand new podcast, JAVILAND, made its debut on Talkshoe today. An hour and a half of good time chitter chatter with Jav and his guests. Cartoonistas on TV! (Behind the scenes)

Some of the Cartoonistas did a TV interview in Monrovia, CA for KGEM. The interview should be online soon. We all had a great time. The show was the Nuvein Showcase hosted by our good friend Renato. Everybody had a chance to plug their various projects and talk about what the Cartoonistas is.

Ted Seko and Steve Romo work on some art. These two were classmates in an art class in college and hadnt seen each other in years before hooking up with the Cartoonistas. See? Were changing the world one Seko/Romo at a time!

Jose Cabrera will be leaving us for 9 months. Mexico, get ready for the Crying Macho Man. He got an amazing scholarship. We'll see ya when you return J.C! (wiping tears)
