San Gabriel Valley 2nd Annual Comic Book Festival

October 10, 2009 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm at Monrovia Library Park, 321 South Myrtle Avenue, Monrovia, CA 91016.

The San Gabriel Valley Comic Book Festival is presented during MAFA’s "Celebrate the Arts" Festival, an annual event in Old Town Monrovia. Come out and enjoy Monrovia's art scene and meet our fabulous comic book artists at the comic book festival and learn about the art of self publishing.

The Cartoonistas would like to thank Rubio's in West Covina for having us at their Wolverine movie opening kick off at the Lakes in W. Covina. We had a good time and I think the crowds did too. Rowland Heights Saftey Fair pics

The Cartoonistas were happy to be invited to the Rowland Heights Safety Fair. The event included lots of community organizations (including the Nuvein foundation for the Arts). We met lots of nice folks and did some cool (if we say so ourselves) art. Thanks to everyone that came down and supported us! Wolverine by Javier Hernandez. For opening day of Wolverine (May 6th) the Cartoonistas will be drawing outside at RUBIOS in next to the Edwards Theater in West Covina!
